Grace Manor – Care Homes in Gillingham
Grace Manor is a beautiful listed building set in its own grounds that is part of historic Gillingham and includes ruins of a church. The gardens are made up of an enclosed courtyard, a mature garden to the side of the building and a lawned area to the front.
At Grace Manor we endeavour to create a home from home feel for all our residents with several cosy sitting rooms, a large dining room and 53 individually furnished and decorated bedrooms with some en-suite. Within the 53 bedrooms 12 of these make up the dementia unit. The unit is open to ensure that our residents who choose to walk with purpose are able to do so.
We encourage all who choose to make Grace Manor their home to bring with them as many personal items that they may wish to bring and that fit into their room.
We have a resident cat called Billy who takes up residence in our reception area. We welcome any pets that residents may have with a pat-the-dog service coming in.
At Grace Manor our residents are at the centre of all we strive to achieve always having our residents best interest at heart to promote their health and happiness in a safe and caring home ensuring that all relatives and friends are made welcome at all events Grace holds as well as on a normal day.
