Forest Healthcare provides specialist residential, nursing and dementia care for over 600 residents.
Florence Best Places to Work, Winner 2026

More than a job

Caring for people is demanding work, and we won’t pretend otherwise. It’s also some of the most rewarding work there is. Across our 13 homes, more than 950 team members look after over 700 residents, and the way we treat each other reflects the way we care for them. In 2026, Forest Healthcare was named a Best Places to Work winner by Florence, and our CARES values (Choice, Above and Beyond, Respect, Empathy and Support) shape how we work, how we support one another and how we help you build a career you’re proud of.

There’s a role for everyone

It takes a whole team to make a home. We employ care assistants and senior carers, registered nurses, chefs and kitchen teams, activities coordinators, housekeeping and maintenance teams, home managers and deputies, and central support roles. New to care? You’ll be trained and supported from day one, and no experience is needed to start.

Looking after you

As well as competitive salaries, we offer an excellent induction, ongoing training and development, a workplace pension and generous annual leave. Every team member also has access to our employee assistance programme, provided by NatWest Mentor, with confidential 24/7 telephone support and counselling, and advice on everything from cost of living to health and family matters.

Room to grow

We believe in developing our people and promoting from within. From the Care Certificate and apprenticeships to revalidation support for our nurses, we invest in helping you move forward, and many of our team members have built long careers with us, progressing into senior and management roles.

How to join us

Applying is simple. Browse our current vacancies on Indeed and send your application in a few minutes, with no long forms. If it looks like a match, we’ll arrange an informal chat, invite you to visit the home and meet the team, and then guide you through your first days once you’re offered the role. You’re also welcome to contact any of our homes directly.

Forest Healthcare is an equal opportunities employer. All roles are subject to DBS checks and our safer recruitment process.
