Welcome to Woodlands Park Care Centre in Great Missenden, Buckinghamshire. Located just outside the quiet village of Great Missenden, we provide expert care for people living with dementia in 24-hour residential care. We are blessed with a long-serving team of nursing and support staff that provide high-quality, person-centred care within our homely environment. We offer long-term, respite and post-operative care.
Our charming home comprises 27 light and airy bedrooms which are mostly equipped with en-suite facilities. Companion rooms may be available upon request. We encourage residents to furnish their new surroundings with familiar pieces of furniture and personal possessions to make them feel truly at home. While our bedrooms provide a tranquil area to rest and relax, our bright and attractive communal day rooms offer residents the opportunity to catch up with friends over a pot of tea, enjoy one of our guest entertainers or simply recline in front of their favourite films. Our day rooms offer serene views across our well-maintained gardens and the Chiltern Hills.
At Woodlands Park, we encourage residents to take part in a range of engaging activities based on their lifestyle needs and preferences. Many of our activities take place within the home environment and include garden parties, barbecues, arts/crafts and quiz nights. We empower individuals to enjoy those everyday routines they cherish, whether that’s having a salon blow-dry and manicure or keeping up to date with their favourite sports. All are encouraged and available. As well as being encouraged to enjoy our magnificent landscaped gardens, residents also enjoy regular days out and seasonal trips further afield.
Our professional catering team deliver nutritionally balanced meals that are appealing for our residents. Our professional food suppliers specialise in delivering high-quality food designed specifically for the healthcare sector.
We warmly welcome you to Woodlands Park where you can learn more about the caring life we offer.
Their compassion, guidance and empathy from all staff members are their greatest asset. Nothing is too much trouble and our friend was very happy and settled in their care.
Everyone is treated like family, the staff are absolutely brilliant, the food is lovely, and all activities are so good.
The staff are reliable, kind and caring. I cannot recommend it more highly. Everyone works very hard to maintain a good standard of environment and relationships with the residents.
Well run, happy care home. Residents treated with dignity and very caring staff and management. Activities for residents with varying abilities are excellent.
All potential residents have their needs thoroughly assessed by our multidisciplinary team. We need to assure ourselves that Woodlands Park is suitable for their care and note any specific care that is appropriate.
Our staff often work with the resident prior to admission, to ensure that all care needs are thoroughly understood to enable a seamless transfer.

Nothing we can say on this website can convey the understanding, warmth and care that our staff have for our residents. Our reputation is one we are very proud of and as rooms are in very short supply we often have to operate a waiting list. It is best if you meet with us at your earliest opportunity to register your interest. Please visit Woodlands Park at any time, however as we are a busy centre it’s best to telephone and arrange a visit with our manager, or administrator who will show you around.
