Welcome to Grace Manor Care Centre in Gillingham, Kent. Situated on stunning grounds, our classic Manor property offers 24-hour care for those over the age of 55. We are blessed with a long-serving team of nursing and support staff that provide high-quality, person-centred care within our homely environment. We offer long-term, respite and post-operative care and particularly cater for those living with Dementia.

Our well-kept care centre comprises 53 bedrooms, 12 of which make up the Dementia unit. A portion of the bedrooms are equipped with an en-suite W.C. and a hand basin. We encourage residents to furnish their new surroundings with familiar pieces of furniture and personal possessions to make them feel truly at home. While our bedrooms provide a tranquil area to rest and relax, our cosy sitting rooms and dining room offer residents the opportunity to catch up with friends over a pot of tea, enjoy one of our guest entertainers or simply recline in front of their favourite films.

At Grace Manor, we encourage residents to take part in a range of engaging activities based on their lifestyle needs and preferences. Many of our activities take place within the home environment and include art, handicrafts, visiting entertainers, quiz nights as well as garden parties and summer barbecues. We empower individuals to enjoy those everyday routines they cherish, whether that’s having a salon blow-dry and manicure or keeping up to date with their favourite sports. All are encouraged and available. Our residents enjoy shopping days as well as seasonal trips to the seaside.

Our professional catering team deliver nutritionally balanced meals that are appealing for our residents. Our professional food suppliers specialise in delivering high-quality food designed specifically for the healthcare sector.

We warmly welcome you to Grace Manor where you can explore our facilities and learn more about the caring life we offer.

All potential residents have their needs thoroughly assessed by our multidisciplinary team. We need to assure ourselves that Grace Manor is suitable for their care and note any specific care that is appropriate.

Our staff often work with the resident prior to admission, to ensure that all care needs are thoroughly understood to enable a seamless transfer.

A typical pathway is:

  • referral by commissioner or self / family
  • visit to our care centre
  • assessment by our multidisciplinary team
  • funding discussion / assistance

Nothing we can say on this website can convey the understanding, warmth and care that our staff have for our residents. Our reputation is one we are very proud of and as rooms are in very short supply we often have to operate a waiting list. It is best if you meet with us at your earliest opportunity to register your interest. Please visit Grace Manor at any time, however as we are a busy home it’s best to telephone and arrange a visit with our manager or member of the team, who will show you around.

Meet the manager

Andy Williams

As the home manager of Grace Manor Care Centre my passion lies in supporting my team in delivering quality care in all areas for our residents. I personally believe, when team members are engaged and included with decisions in the home, excellent standards of care begin to flourish and “our family” give over and above their day-to-day roles. My passion is developing staff that grow and naturally take pride in their work and therefore, make it their mission to make a positive difference to the lives of our residents and their families, no matter what role they have at Grace Manor. Through strong ties with the local community we ensure our home is a home that is vibrant, full of love, laughter and happiness!
